How an order is formed

A WhatsApp enquiry does not by itself create a payment obligation. Work begins after the brief, final price, deadline, character count and revision rounds are confirmed in writing and the agreed deposit is received.

Customer material

The customer is responsible for the accuracy of names, dates and facts and confirms the right to provide photos and other material for the private order.

• Illegal material or requests to copy protected characters and brands are not accepted.
• LifePanels may refuse work that infringes law, third-party rights or safety requirements.

Stages and approvals

Depending on the package, the script, character appearance, initial pages and final version are approved. Written approval of a stage means that completely replacing it later is not an ordinary revision.

• One revision round means one consolidated list of comments on the current version.
• Extra changes, characters or pages are quoted and approved before they are made.

Timing

Timing starts after all required materials, payment and the initial brief are received. Delayed customer responses or material move the delivery date. Express work is accepted only after written confirmation of availability and the surcharge.

Payment and delivery

The deposit and balance are stated in the order confirmation. Previews may be sent in reduced resolution or with a watermark. The unwatermarked final file is delivered after the required approval and payment; printing begins only after layout approval.

Rights and publication

The customer receives a personal-use right to the completed comic and the agreed number of copies. LifePanels retains rights in the artwork and layout to the extent permitted by law, but never publishes a personal order without separate explicit customer permission.

Liability

LifePanels is responsible for conformity with the agreed brief and corrects verified errors. Reasonable colour differences between screen and print may occur because of the device or printing process. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be limited.
